Special Projects and Grants Program Coordinator

This position is responsible for conducting technical research, writing, and financial aspects of
preparing and submitting grant applications including actively searching for new grants to support
the initiatives and special projects for Essex County Administration as assigned. This position is
responsible for developing a grant management system (tracking and budgeting), preparing, and
submitting financial reports, and other day-to-day responsibilities for successful grants
management. This position is responsible for Special Projects participating either as a
collaborative team member or Project Lead, as applicable.
The Special Projects and Grants Program Coordinator should possess excellent research and
communication skills (both written and verbal), the ability to organize and prioritize workload to
meet all suspense timelines, to understand, analyze and interpret financial information in varying
formats.
The position is full-time with benefits, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience,
offer contingent on successful background check and will serve a six (6) month probationary
period.
